Three-phase AC current geared motors in power range from 6 to 90 W

SPG geared motors are characterised by a high level of quality and reliability.

Structure and function - motors

The motors are AC current motors for mains operation or operation on a frequency inverter as a variable speed drive. All of the motors are 4-pole with a speed of 1,500 rpm at 50 Hz. They are all fitted with insulation class E and thermal protection (impedance current limitation at 6 W and thermal switch from 15 W). The models from 6 to 40 W are self-cooling. The geared motors with 60 and 90 W are cooled by a fan.

Structure and function - gearboxes

The matching helical gearboxes are characterised by quality, durability (lubricated for life) and low-noise operation. Gearbox reductions from 3:1 to 200:1 are available. We also offer intermediate gearboxes with i=10 to realise even higher ratios. If the intermediate gearboxes are used, a ratio of 2000:1 can thus be realised.

Gearbox design A: 6 to 40 W

• Square flange with stud bolt
• Gear reduction of 3:1 to 180:1
• Torque up to 9.8 Nm

Gearbox design C: 60 to 90 W

• Rectangular flange with lateral fastening
• Gear reduction of 3:1 to 200:1
• Torque up to 19.6 Nm

Gearbox design S: 60 to 90 W

• Reinforced gearboxes (HT gearboxes) are used for high ratios.
• Rectangular flange with lateral fastening
• Gear reduction of 50:1 to 200:1
• Torque up to 29.4 Nm

Intermediate gearbox i=10

• For ratios > 180 or > 200

If an intermediate gearbox is used, pay attention to the maximum torque of the upstream gearbox.

Fixing bracket

Base brackets for standard or lateral installation can be fitted for all gearbox types with stud bolts.
