Servomech® ATL and BSA for heavy-duty applications
The ATL series (trapezoidal screw) and the BSA series (ball screw) are particularly suitable for applications with high loads / forces.
Linear actuators with ball screws have a higher efficiency and therefore lower energy consumption than actuators with trapezoidal screw and so allow a higher duty cycle.
Both designs have a rear mounting connection and a worm gear with precision worm shaft with ZI involute gearing.
The linear actuators are lubricated with synthetic grease. The gearbox is lubricated for life, the linear drive section can be relubricated.
ATL series: Actuators with trapezoidal screw
These actuators / lifting cylinders with trapezoidal spindle are suitable for more complex industrial applications with forces in the range of 4 kN - 600 kN and a maximum duty cycle of 30 % in a period of 10 minutes. Speeds up to 140 mm/s are possible and a wide range of models and modular options are available. The standard stroke length is up to 1000 mm. Special versions are also available with longer strokes.
The motors are 1- or 3-phase AC motors with the option of 24 V DC for sizes ATL20 to ATL40.
Options include external stroke limit switches, various end attachments, stainless steel push rod, second drive shaft, incremental encoder, safety nut and much more.

BSA series: Actuators with ball screw
These linear actuators with ball screw are suitable for medium to heavy-duty industrial applications with a duty cycle of up to 100 % and forces in the range from 4 kN to 600 kN. Speeds of up to 93 mm/s and stroke lengths of up to 1.0 m are available as standard. The motors are 1- or 3-phase servomotors or DC motors with 24 V up to size BSA40.
There is a wide range of motors available - standard AC motors with 1- or 3-phase supply, DC motors with 12 or 24 V supply and AC servo motors. The numerous options include limit switches, encoder feedback, bellows and safety nuts.
