Polyflex® JB™ V-belt
High power density in the smallest space
Polyflex® JB™ stands for high power density in the smallest space. This belt was developed and is manufactured in a special process to offer a higher carrying capacity at higher speeds for small composite V-belt precision drives. This leads to considerable cost savings and more design freedom. They are available in the profiles 3M-JB, 5M-JB, 7M-JB and 11M-JB.

Design
JB = Joined-Belt composite belt design for more stability. The ribbed upper surface reduces the bending stress on small-diameter pulleys and provides good lateral stiffness. The 60° angle provides better support for the tension cords and ensures a more even load distribution. Small cross-sections fulfil special application requirements, such as high shaft speeds, small drive units, and very smooth running.
High modulus polyurethane compound with high coefficient of friction. The precise casting process eliminates overlaps and layers. The excellent adhesion between the tensile cords and the polyurethane compound results in high fatigue strength and long belt service life. Especially robust - the polyurethane compound is resistant to fatigue, wear and ozone.
