Backlash-free and torsionally rigid rotary transducer coupling
The COUNTEX® is a backlash-free shaft coupling which was developed specifically for rotary transducers. It is able to compensate for shaft offsets (e.g. caused by manufacturing inaccuracies), thermal expansion, etc.
It is particularly with exact and reproducible positioning that COUNTEX® shows its strengths. The double-cardan operating principle reduces restoring forces to a minimum. Thanks to its compact dimensions, axial pluggability for blind mounting and the high-temperature-resistant intermediate piece, it is the optimum link between rotary transducer and motor.

Structure and function
The COUNTEX® is a 3-piece double cardan coupling. Two aluminium hubs with special geometry, and between them an intermediate piece made of high-temperature-resistant plastic (PEEK). This combination results in an easy-to-install coupling system with a shallow installation depth which also withstands temperatures of up to +160 °C.
