Anti-static belts for power transmission are essential in ATEX areas. In order to comply with the highest safety standards, they must not only safely bleed off static electricity to the necessary extent when in a new condition, but also during their entire service life. The Poly Chain® Carbon™ Volt® belt is the only belt on the market which fulfils the ISO standard 9563 during its entire service life. Its patented, statically conductive fabric ("jacket") safely bleeds off static electricity into the carbon tensile cords. This makes it the best choice for applications in ATEX areas.

Design
Chemically resistant polyurethane compound which allows for optimal adhesion to the carbon tensile cords. Carbon fibre-reinforced for high strength and length stability. The wear resistant nylon fabric on the outside of the teeth protects the teeth and keeps frictional losses to a minimum. The curved teeth profile improves tension distribution and allows for a higher overall load.
