RIGIFLEX®-N - steel multiple-disc clutch

RIGIFLEX-N® models are used wherever reliable and maintenance-free torque transmission needs to be combined with shaft misalignment handling capability.

The RIGIFLEX-N®, developed specifically for pump drives, complies with the regulations of API 610 and can optionally be supplied in API 671-compliant form (API = American Petroleum Institute).

Structure and function

The disc packs of the RIGIFLEX®-N are connected backlash-free to hubs / flanges via form-fit fitted bolts The disc packs consist of layered tapered discs. The intermediate piece is secured via a retainer; i.e. in the event of a disc fracture, the intermediate piece remains within the coupling.

The A-H design has half-shell hubs. This ensures easy radial mounting and dismounting.
