Torsionally rigid and flexible metal bellows coupling
This torsionally rigid coupling employs metal bellows, which ensure optimum compensation of axial, radial and angular misalignments with a high degree of torsional stiffness and low moment of inertia. The tried-and-tested joining technique produces a force-fit, backlash-free connection. The joining technique and the use of stainless steel allow the coupling to be used in aggressive environments and at temperatures of up to +200°C.

Structure and function
The TOOLFLEX® is a 3-piece metal bellows coupling. It consists of a stainless steel bellows and coupling hubs made of aluminium (for size 55/65 and type KN, the coupling hubs are made of steel). The metal bellows optimally compensates for axial, radial, and angular misalignments. The geometric shape ensures a high torsional rigidity.
