SINULASTIC® – highly torsionally flexible flange coupling
Disc coupling for various application areas
The SINULASTIC® series has a modular design. The highly flexible flange couplings are based on a disc-shaped coupling body. Four basic variants with individual properties cover a wide range of applications.
The main task of the coupling is to reduce the torsional vibrations due to the excitation of the internal combustion engine as well as to protect the drive against overloads.

Structure and function of the SINULASTIC®
The SINULASTIC® is a disc coupling with radial load path. A highly torsionally flexible elastomer element is used between the external flange ring and the coupling hub to dampen the vibrations and shift the operating range above the critical speed. Depending on the Shore hardness of the elastomer, angles of rotation from 13° to 18° are reached.
