Flange couplings, couplings for internal combustion engines
General information
The flange couplings are used between internal combustion engines and hydraulic pumps. Depending on the requirements, torsionally rigid, elastic, or highly flexible flange couplings are used.
Highly flexible flange couplings are extremely effective at damping any oscillations and shocks which may occur.
- BoWex® FLE-PA / FLE-PAC - torsionally rigid flange coupling
- MONOLASTIC® - torsionally flexible flange coupling
- BoWex-ELASTIC® - highly flexible flange coupling

Note about flanges for pump installation
For installing the hydraulic pumps on the diesel engine, mounting flanges complying with the SAE mounting dimensions are available in the nominal sizes SAE 6 to SAE 1. These flanges are made of steel and EN-GJL-250 (GG25) for hydraulic pumps with flange connectors according to SAE-A, -B, -C, -D and -E in 2-hole as well as 4-hole designs. Pump attachment housing made of EN-GJL-250 (GG25) for direct mounting onto the engine rear plate.
