Telescopic axis, gantry axis, hoist axis: AXS axes
Designs as gantry axes, telescopic axes, and hoist axes of the AXS range for extremely high loads
AXS gantry axes, telescopic axes, and hoist axes are particularly suited for high loads up to a max. of 1,700 kg and long unsupported lengths.
The AXS gantry axes, telescopic axes, and hoist axes from the Lenze Selection program of the linear axes are linear modules with maximum precision and quality. Due to their high power density, the AXS axes are suitable for tight installation situations. Traversing speeds of up to 10 m/s can be realised.
The system program for the AXS axes includes:
- Telescopic axis with toothed belt Omega drive
- Hoist and gantry axes with rack drive
- Horizontal and vertical telescopic axes with rack and pinion/toothed belt drive
- Gantry axis with toothed belt drive to the sides
- Gantry axis with toothed belt drive

- Axes with high-rigidity aluminium profiles as the base material

- Standard sizes with up to 460 mm profile width
- 2 parallel linear guides as guide system

About the precision of linear axes
Linear axes with a toothed belt Omega drive from the AXDL_A series and hoist axes from the AXS series, which generally have an unsupported configuration, are manufactured with improved straightness tolerances. Via the profile finishing, a straightness of 0.1 mm/m is achieved for these linear axes. The running parallelism of linear axes is determined primarily by the tolerances of the aluminium profiles used. The profiles we use fulfil at least the requirements of EN12020-2 for precision profiles. The most common requirement in applications for linear axes is the repeat accuracy.
